The Teviot Wind Farm, a proposed renewable energy project in the Scottish Borders, has been dealt a significant setback. Developers Muirhall Energy have withdrawn their plans just weeks before a public inquiry was set to commence, citing prolonged uncertainty over the Eskdalemuir Seismic Array as a key factor. The project faced strong opposition from the Scottish Borders Council (SBC), who described the scale of the turbines as "incredible" and likened the application to "vandalism in the hills".
